POEMS: EVANESCENCE

EVANESCENCE
Falling apart, like wisps of far distance smoke
Still it is hard to believe, that they can choke
As I fall down, holding my breathe
It dawns to me; the sea has pulled itself apart
To let me slither, and watch me part

Conflicting, consuming, conflicting its crawling
Beneath my skin, itches never ending
Vanus, gaping hole in my soul
My mouth tries to explain, words sound foul
To leave is impossible, I cannot break the habit

Fading, failing, facing blue horizons
Still it’s hard to believe, evanescence is my zone
Gradual evanesce pain, then sweet nothingness
I will grow, wake up to beautiful grayness
When the wisps will colorize
